Babcock Careers is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Rosyth. As a key member of our LGE business, you will play a critical role in delivering marine cargo handling systems for the transportation and storage of liquefied gas.

The Role

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for performing all Mechanical Engineering design work in support of winning and delivering projects for our key customers. This will involve designing activities associated with marine and onshore liquefied gas plants, ensuring safe and economical design while striving for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design process piping systems, including all integrated mechanical equipment, to satisfy client technical specifications.
  • Support the design of marine cargo handling systems for the transportation and storage of liquefied gas.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in Mechanical Engineering design.
