About the Role

We are seeking a qualified SEN Teacher to join our team of dedicated professionals at Connex Education. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach students with special educational needs in a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the needs of students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience
  • Provide regular progress updates to parents and carers

Requirements:

  • Qualified teaching status
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Good subject knowledge in one of the following subjects: Maths, English, Science, Humanities, Geography (Secondary) or Primary School subject knowledge
  • Able to work with students of varied abilities up to KS4
  • Reliable and consistent
  • Capable of working with challenging behaviour
  • Able to work under pressure effectively and reflect in action
