Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Compliance and Governance Professional to join our team at Blue Octopus Recruitment Ltd. as a Senior Governance and Compliance Specialist. The successful candidate will provide advice and support to our Executive Team and Boards, and lead a small team responsible for governance, regulatory and legal compliance, data protection, insurance and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on company constitutions and group governance arrangements
  • Develop and implement effective governance and compliance strategies
  • Lead a team to ensure regulatory and legal compliance, data protection, insurance and risk management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of company constitutions and group governance arrangements
  • Working knowledge of data protection legislation and good practice
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
