About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Support Officer to join our Young Futures Support Service Team at CHS Group.

As a Support Officer, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to young people aged 16-25 who are at risk of homelessness. You will work closely with our team to identify and meet the personal goals of our service users, focusing on areas such as independent living skills, coping strategies, and tenancy sustainment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and guidance to young people aged 16-25 who are at risk of homelessness.
  • Work closely with our team to identify and meet the personal goals of our service users.
  • Assist with the delivery of housing management and implement health and safety procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to support the work of the team.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external agencies and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support for our service users.
Requirements
  • Experience advising and supporting young people in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work creatively and flexibly to meet the needs of our service users.
  • Good IT and office skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and write clear reports.
  • A full UK driving licence and use of a car for work purposes is essential.
