Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at Grove Medical Centre. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for performing venipuncture and capillary collection techniques on patients of all ages.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary collection techniques on patients of all ages.
- Ensure patient identification and comfort during the blood collection procedure.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all procedures and specimens collected.
- Provide education to patients on the blood collection process and answer any questions they may have.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment.
- Assist in the labelling and processing of specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide timely and efficient patient care.
