We are seeking a highly skilled Therapeutic Support Practitioner to join our team at Para Group Holdings Ltd in Manchester. As a key member of our residential children's home, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to children with emotional behaviour difficulties.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation that prioritises child-focused care while investing in its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing outstanding care to children, adhering to individual care plans;
  • Taking children on activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being;
  • Liaising with families and professionals to ensure seamless care coordination;
  • Supporting children in attending and engaging in education, using the therapeutic trauma-informed PACE approach;
  • Maintaining accurate records of daily activities, including incident reports;
  • Conducting general housekeeping duties, such as cooking, cleaning, and health and safety checks;
  • Applying safeguarding knowledge to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone in the home;

The ideal candidate will possess a QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in childcare principles. We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, reflecting the demands and responsibilities of this role.
