We are seeking a highly skilled Secondary Tutor to join our team and deliver high-quality one-to-one education packages that cater to students who have fallen behind or require extra support.

This role is ideal for experienced educators looking to transition from a traditional classroom setting to a more personalized and rewarding experience.

As a Secondary Tutor with Prospero Teaching, you will be responsible for creating customized lesson plans that bridge gaps in students' education and help them achieve their full potential.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS), Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or equivalent qualifications
  • At least 6 months of experience working as a tutor
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable but not essential)

What We Offer

Our tutors benefit from competitive rates, which reflect the national averages for Secondary Tutors in the UK. The estimated salary range for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Hold a Right to Work in the UK
  2. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  3. Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years
