About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to join our Vascular and Amputee Team at the Royal London Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with vascular disease and those who have undergone major amputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective occupational therapy and physiotherapy plans to support patients in achieving their goals.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical lead therapist to develop and improve services to meet the changing needs of patients.
  • Supervise and support junior therapists, students, and therapy support workers to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Contribute to the development of quality improvement and education initiatives within the acute medicine setting.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy and registered with the Health Professions Council.
  • Extensive postgraduate inpatient experience across a range of acute/rehab settings, including vascular and amputee care.
  • Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team and supervising staff.
  • Good knowledge of current best practice in occupational therapy or physiotherapy in relevant settings.
