Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced or newly qualified Occupational Therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team at Athlone Rehabilitation Unit.

We are seeking a keen and enthusiastic individual with a passion for rehabilitation to join our multidisciplinary team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work as part of a team delivering holistic, client-centred care within an in-patient rehab unit with senior leadership to support ongoing development.

The successful post holder will be supported by our multidisciplinary team consisting of Physiotherapists, Rehabilitation Nurses, Rehabilitation Assistants, Rehabilitation Support Workers, Doctors, Dietitians, and Speech and Language Therapists.

Main Duties of the Job

We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, and dynamic Occupational Therapist to join our team of Therapists and Rehabilitation Assistants. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual who is passionate about helping patients improve their quality of life and helping staff develop in their roles.

You will be working with a dedicated multidisciplinary team that includes Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, SALT, Dietitians, Nurses, Doctors, and Social Workers.

This post is for hours a week. In the future, there will be seven-day working on the unit.
