The Role

You will have full operational and financial responsibility for your schools catering facility, focusing on achieving the highest quality of food and service while showcasing flair and originality.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, developing, coaching, training, and motivating the kitchen team
  • Controlling stock, food, and labour costs, ensuring efficient resource allocation
  • Maintaining consistency of food and service standards delivered to students and staff
  • Driving sales through promotions and added value events, enhancing customer satisfaction
  • Managing controllable costs, improving overall efficiency and profitability
  • Overseeing menu development, ensuring relevance and appeal to diverse tastes
  • Maintaining adherence to company systems, procedures, and legislation
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance and excellence
About You

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service, possessing the following skills and experience:

  • OND or HND qualification (advantageous)
  • Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients, ensuring quality and presentation
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices, maintaining a safe working environment
  • Financial understanding of gross profit management and achieving sales targets
  • Line management experience, with a proven track record of success
  • Experience within a similar environment, with a focus on delivering excellent results
