About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Kitchen Operations Manager to join our team at Norse Catering. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen team, preparing and cooking meals for young people and school staff, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all.

Key Duties
  • Lead the kitchen team to deliver high-quality meals and excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement menu cycles, taking into account nutritional guidelines and dietary requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the central team to manage food safety, health and safety, and food allergens.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support the kitchen team.
  • Good understanding of nutrition and menu planning, with the ability to work within set budgets.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
