Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pain Management Consultant to join our team at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre (DMRC) in Stanford Hall, Loughborough. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical pain services and promoting a culture of evidence-based best practice.

Main Duties
  • Provide clinical leadership to deliver a high-quality clinical pain service and promote a culture of evidence-based best practice.
  • Assess patients at regular intervals to review progress and provide guidance on their long-term condition.
  • Coordinate surgical, medical, rehabilitation, psychological, and social care input to ensure delivery of a patient-centred, integrated, biopsychosocial model of care.
  • Attend and lead Pain clinics, Specialist Rehabilitation Multi-disciplinary assessment clinics (MIACs), and review clinics as per individual job plan.

Person Specification
  • Experience working in pain management - assessment and treatment, including intervention.
  • Experience of MDT working.
  • Evidence of recent training as a commitment to personal and professional development.
