Pain Management Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Pain Management Consultant to join our team at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre (DMRC). As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical pain services and promoting a culture of evidence-based best practice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership to a team of Pain Specialist Nurses and Allied Healthcare Professionals to deliver an occupationally focused Pain Management resource within a rehabilitation service.
- Coordinate surgical, medical, rehabilitation, psychological, and social care input to ensure delivery of a patient-centred, integrated, biopsychosocial model of care.
- Assess patients at regular intervals to review progress and provide guidance on long-term condition management.
- Experience working in pain management, including assessment and treatment, and intervention.
- Experience of multidisciplinary team working.
- Recent training as a commitment to personal and professional development.
