**Job Role:**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and dedicated Nursing Associate to join our Special School Nursing team. As a key member of the children's community and learning disability nursing teams, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children with moderate to severe and profound learning disabilities and complex health needs.

**Key Duties:**
  • Assess and plan care for children in the school setting, working closely with children, young people, and their parents/carers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical and safeguarding records, adhering to NMC guidelines and promoting high standards of care and practice.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of teaching and competencies for education staff members and support medical clinics within schools.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
  • NMC registration as a Nursing Associate.
  • A Level 5 Foundation Degree in Health & Care related to Nursing Associate training.
  • Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary and cross-agency environment under supervision.
  • Understanding of safeguarding principles and Mental Capacity.
**Estimated Salary:** £32 per hour (dependent on experience)
