We are partnering with our client to recruit a Social Worker to join their Children & Families Division in a stunning Channel Island location. Role Overview

In the Care Management team, you'll work with children and young people who require safeguarding, including those who are looked after, subject to a Child Protection Plan, or on statutory orders. As the Lead Professional, you will oversee statutory cases and ensure a coordinated, multi-disciplinary approach to delivering the best outcomes for vulnerable children and families.

Core Responsibilities

Lead as the Lead Professional in statutory cases, including child protection, care proceedings, and looked-after children
Conduct assessments, planning, and reviews for children and their families
Manage a multi-disciplinary team around each child, ensuring comprehensive, well-rounded support
Maintain timely and accurate records in line with Divisional policies
Participate in case audits, conferences, meetings, and court sessions

Essential Criteria

Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
HCPC or equivalent registration
One year's post-qualifying experience or a placement in a statutory social work setting
Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle
Strong knowledge of UK/IOM legislative frameworks
Ability to produce timely and accurate written work
