Job Overview

This role is ideal for a Registered Occupational Therapist seeking a new challenge with flexible working and professional development opportunities. The successful candidate will use their clinical expertise to assess how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.

The position involves conducting assessments, producing detailed reports, and developing clinical knowledge and assessment skills. A tailored training programme is provided to support the transition into this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.
  • Produce Personal Independent Payment (PIP) reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine a person's eligibility for benefits.
  • Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills with the support of regular feedback and supervision.
  • Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.

  • £37,800 salary with the opportunity for a £1,500 additional skills allowance.
