Job Summary:
MMP Consultancy is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Resales Consultant. This is an interim contract opportunity with a housing association in Central London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle customer inquiries in a professional and supportive manner, demonstrating product knowledge.
- Log all customer contacts and maintain accurate records using relevant database and case management systems.
- Effectively manage resales and staircasing caseloads, achieving or exceeding individual targets.
- Ensure all activities are progressed in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Support customers during the resale process by providing effective advice on legal matters and procedures.
- Provide expert advice and interpretation of leases, relevant legislation, and leasehold issues to internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with customers, solicitors, estate agents, financial advisors, and internal departments to progress cases to exchange and completion in a timely manner.
- Prepare weekly pipeline reports, ensuring performance standards are met, progress is charted, and procedures are complied with.
- Stay up to date with technical knowledge and legislation relevant to shared ownership resales and staircasing, including Homes England capital funding guidelines.
- Ensure customer data is held in strict compliance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and best practice across the team.
Requirements:
This role requires a strong understanding of shared ownership resales and staircasing, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
