HBD Partners is a leading hospitality company with a globally-branded hotel in Kent. Our hotel boasts extensive event space, with capacity for up to 600 people. The hotel also comprises stylish bedrooms and popular food and beverage concepts.

About the Role:

  • The MICE Sales Director will be responsible for managing existing direct corporate clients and MICE booking agents, as well as generating new events and groups business from across the wider southeast UK market and key international feeder markets.
  • The MICE Sales Director will also promote the hotel in the UK weddings market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively drive events, groups, and weddings business into the hotel.
  • Target and contract new direct and agency business as required and in line with the hotel sales strategy.
  • Manage and develop existing direct and agency client accounts.
  • Work closely with the Area Director of Sales and hotel event sales team.
  • Network and influence the brand global and regional sales teams.
  • Meet and exceed defined MICE sales targets.
  • Hold site visits and client visits as required.
