About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our Enterprise Applications Team in Coventry. As an Azure Data Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the development of our Business Intelligence Hub and data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support requirements gathering, problem-solving, data modeling, design, creation, testing, and user/colleague guidance for our established Business Intelligence Hub and data infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with Application Owners to develop new data models for reporting purposes.
  • Focus on creating and maintaining data pipelines, data storage solutions, data processing, and data integration within the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
Requirements
  • Broad knowledge and working experience of various Microsoft Business Intelligence related applications and tools, including Fabric Data Lakes, Synapse, Data Factory, DevOps, Purview, CDM Utility, Event Grid, Serverless SQL Pools, Dedicated SQL Pools, and Power BI.
  • Effective communication skills at different levels, from individual users and managers to company-wide communications.
  • Knowledge of D365 Finance, Project Operations, Sales, Customer Insights, and available and custom entities, data structures (preferred/desirable).
  • Ability to create, review, feedback on, and manage high-quality functional documentation.
  • Liaise with 3rd parties and implement required changes.
  • ITIL qualification (desirable) at foundation level.
