About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our Enterprise Applications Team in Coventry. As an Azure Data Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the development of our Business Intelligence Hub and data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of our Business Intelligence Hub and data infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with Application Owners to develop new data models for reporting.
  • Create and maintain data pipelines, data storage solutions, data processing, and data integration within Microsoft Azure.
  • Support and further develop our established business intelligence data infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Broad knowledge and working experience of Microsoft Business Intelligence applications and tools, including Fabric Data Lakes, Synapse, Data Factory, DevOps, Purview, CDM Utility, Event Grid, Serverless SQL Pools, Dedicated SQL Pools, and Power BI.
  • Effective communication skills at different levels, from individual users and managers to company-wide communications.
  • Knowledge of D365 Finance, Project Operations, Sales, Customer Insights, and data structures.
  • Ability to create, review, and manage high-quality functional documentation.
  • ITIL qualification desirable at foundation level.
