We are seeking a skilled User Researcher to join our team at Substrakt. As a User Researcher, you will play a crucial part in understanding our clients' users and informing our design and development processes.
Key Responsibilities- Design and conduct user research initiatives, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and focus groups.
- Analyse and synthesise research findings to generate actionable insights for the team.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their objectives and help define user-centric goals for projects.
- Create user personas, journey maps, and other tools to communicate research findings and user insights effectively.
- Maintain an awareness of industry trends and best practices in user research, and apply this knowledge to improve our methodologies.
- Advocate the value of user research through webinars, conferences, and articles.
- Experience or hands-on experience in user research, UX design, or related fields.
- Proficiency in various research methods, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and observations.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesise qualitative and quantitative data.
- Experience creating user personas and journey maps, and using them to inform design decisions.
- Familiarity with tools such as SurveyMonkey, Maze, Optimal Workshop, Optimizely, HotJar, and Excel or similar.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner.
- Experience working in an agency or similar environment where flexibility and collaboration are key.
- Curious and have a deep empathy for users' needs and challenges.
- Enjoy working collaboratively and can build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
- Have a proactive approach to problem-solving and a desire to improve digital experiences for users.
- Are interested in the business of arts and culture.
- Fully flexible working patterns, agreed in advance and available from day 1, including part-time hours, condensed hours, flexible start and end times, and 100% remote working.
