About the Role

We are seeking a skilled User Researcher to join our team at Substrakt. As a User Researcher, you will play a crucial part in understanding our clients' users and informing our design and development processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct user research initiatives, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and focus groups
  • Analyze and synthesize research findings to generate actionable insights for the team
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their objectives and help define user-centric goals for projects
  • Create user personas, journey maps, and other tools to communicate research findings and user insights effectively
  • Maintain an awareness of industry trends and best practices in user research, and apply this knowledge to improve our methodologies
  • Advocate the value of user research through webinars, conferences, and articles
Requirements
  • Experience or hands-on experience in user research, UX design, or related fields
  • Proficiency in various research methods, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and observations
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data
  • Experience creating user personas and journey maps, and using them to inform design decisions
  • Familiarity with tools such as SurveyMonkey, Maze, Optimal Workshop, Optimizely, HotJar, and Excel or similar
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and engaging manner
  • Experience working in an agency or similar environment where flexibility and collaboration are key
  • Curious and have a deep empathy for users' needs and challenges
  • Enjoy working collaboratively and can build strong relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Have a proactive approach to problem-solving and a desire to improve digital experiences for users
  • Are interested in the business of arts and culture
