Job Title: Senior Children Services Professional

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Children Services Professional to join our team at the London Borough of Croydon. As a Senior Children Services Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of children and families in our community.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide expert guidance and support to colleagues on child welfare and family assessment best practices.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of children's needs and develop effective plans to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive support to children and families.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, plans, and outcomes.

**Requirements:**

  • Qualified Social Worker with up-to-date registration with Social Work England.
  • Foundation level systemic practice qualification desirable.
  • Practice Educator or Practice Teacher qualification desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of national policy, strategy, and developments regarding children's social care.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
