Job Description

As a Children and Family Services Manager, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of children's services in Croydon. You will lead a team of experienced professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading a team of Social Care Specialists in providing a safeguarding and reviewing service to children and young people who are looked after.
  2. Developing and implementing strategies to improve outcomes for looked after children and their families.
  3. Providing advice and consultation on issues of care planning and quality of services to all agencies involved in caring for looked after children and young people.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field.
  2. Advanced Social Worker certification.
  3. Minimum 5 years of experience in social work, preferably in a management role.
  4. Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • A highly competitive compensation package, estimated to be around £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
