Salary Information


We are offering a competitive pay rate for this role, with the potential to secure a permanent contract. Based on industry standards and the London location, we estimate the salary to be around £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.



Job Description


As an Educational Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers in the classroom, providing one-on-one assistance or small group support to students. Your primary responsibilities will include:



  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery;
  • Helping with classroom management, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment;
  • Supporting students with their academic and social development, catering to their individual needs;
  • Preparing and organizing learning materials and resources as directed by the teacher;
  • Assisting in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs (SEND).

You will work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.



Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with children;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents;
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the school and students.

A strong understanding of child development and behavior is also essential for this position.
