Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesAs a Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Providing comprehensive assessments and treatment plans for patients with mental health conditions
- Delivering evidence-based interventions and therapies to support patient recovery
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with local community resources and services
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of best practices
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Professional qualification in mental health nursing (RMN) with current NMC registration
- Experience of working in community mental health settings and with a range of mental health diagnoses
- Knowledge of recovery approaches and psychosocial interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care
