About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our team at West London NHS Trust. As a Band 6 Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with mental health needs in our community mental health team.
Main Responsibilities
Key duties of the role include:
- Providing assessment and treatment to patients with mental health conditions
- Working closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Supervising junior staff and providing guidance and support
- Participating in audit and research activities to improve patient care
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Professional qualification in mental health - Mental Health Nursing (RMN) with current NMC registration
- Experience of working in community mental health services
- Knowledge of counselling skills, cognitive behavioural skills, and psychosocial interventions
- Ability to interpret research and apply to practice
