About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our team at West London NHS Trust. As a Band 6 Mental Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with mental health needs in our community mental health team.

Main Responsibilities

Key duties of the role include:

  • Providing assessment and treatment to patients with mental health conditions
  • Working closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Supervising junior staff and providing guidance and support
  • Participating in audit and research activities to improve patient care

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Professional qualification in mental health - Mental Health Nursing (RMN) with current NMC registration
  • Experience of working in community mental health services
  • Knowledge of counselling skills, cognitive behavioural skills, and psychosocial interventions
  • Ability to interpret research and apply to practice
