Reception and Telephony Coordinator

The Hawthorns Surgery is seeking a skilled and efficient Telephonist/Receptionist to join our dynamic team at our busy GP Practice. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional patient experience, handling patient queries, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our Reception area.
Main Responsibilities
- Deal with patient queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Manage patient bookings and appointments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Provide administrative support to the Reception Lead and other team members
- Ensure the Reception area is maintained to a high standard, including cleaning and organization
- Assist with other duties as required, such as handling post and issuing receipts
Person Specification
- A basic standard of education to secondary school level
- Knowledge of confidentiality and its application
- Experience of working in General Practice or a Healthcare Environment
