Job Title: Temporary Part-Time Tutor

Salary: £28 per hour (estimated)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design engaging English and Maths lessons for Key Stage 3 students.
  • Provide individualised support to students who require extra help.
  • Develop tailored learning materials and resources.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure student success.
Minimum Requirements:
  • A relevant teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with Key Stage 3 students.
  • A proven track record of improving student performance.
  • A strong understanding of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum.
  • The ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Proficiency in using various teaching strategies and techniques.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Additional certifications in Special Education or Literacy.
  • Experience in delivering outreach programmes.
Working Conditions:
  • A part-time position with flexible hours.
  • Work primarily in a school or learner's home.
  • Potential for remote tutoring sessions.
