Educational Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Educational Support Specialist to join our team at Shorefields. This is a part-time position requiring 28 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday, during term time, plus five staff training days.
The successful candidate will need to have GCSE qualification grade C/level 5 or above, or equivalent, in English and Maths, as well as the HLTA/L4 Teaching Assistant qualification or be willing to achieve it within 12 months of appointment.
As an Educational Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting students' academic progress, particularly in Year 11, and working closely with parents to ensure the best outcomes for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students' learning and development
- Working with teachers to tailor educational strategies to individual needs
- Maintaining effective communication with parents and carers
Requirements:
- GCSE qualification grade C/level 5 or above, or equivalent, in English and Maths
