We are seeking an experienced Business Development Marketing Specialist to join our Clients Team. This role will play a crucial part in supporting the development and implementation of marketing and business development plans for our practice groups and cross-practice campaigns.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct research and analysis to inform marketing strategies, leveraging data from previous campaigns and finance data where applicable.
  • Draft or edit copy for news items on our website and social media platforms, ensuring timely publication with the comms team.
  • Liaise with copywriters to ensure effective briefing and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the comms team to create engaging social media content that aligns with our visual brand guidelines.
  • Coordinate events, seminars, and webinars for our practices, liaising with speakers and ensuring successful execution within budget.
  • Support researching and organising economists' attendance at conferences.
  • Assist with directory and awards submissions.
  • Produce interactive documents to support practice BD activities.
  • Maintain expertise in our CRM system, utilizing it to generate mailing lists, produce reports, and monitor campaign responses.
  • Schedule content with the comms team, ensuring clear priorities and negotiated deadlines when necessary.

Essential Experience:

  • Marketing experience within a professional services environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Working with senior people.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of GDPR regulations.
  • Ability to work within teams and across various levels of accountability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Confidence to challenge and share ideas.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Familiarity with social media channels.

Desirable Experience:

  • Language proficiency in German, French, or Spanish.
  • A recognised marketing qualification (e.g., CIM).
