About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Branch Manager to lead our Estate Agency team in delivering exceptional service to our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of estate agents, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily meetings with the estate agency team to discuss sales targets and performance
- Coach and develop the team to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Monitor and assess individual team member performance, including conducting regular one-to-one meetings
- Encourage team development and progression, and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Focus on generating new and repeat business, and developing strong relationships with vendors and buyers
- Liaise with prospective buyers and arrange property viewings in line with their needs
- Negotiate offers and agree sales, ensuring the business is risk-averse and compliant with regulatory bodies
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence for a manual vehicle
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within estate agency at a senior negotiator position, property valuer position, or higher
- Ability to work well with others to create a team spirit and enjoyable working environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create trusting relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
- Ability to create and action business plans relevant to the branch, and monitor and assess performance of local competitors
- Strong understanding of current legislation related to estate agency, and ability to manage time-sensitive and high-volume workloads
- Reputation for delivering outstanding customer service, and ability to work under own initiative
- Good telephone manner, and strong IT skills (basic Microsoft packages)
- Attention to detail
