School Support Worker: Making a Difference

Austin Fraser is recruiting a skilled School Support Worker to join our dynamic team and help students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs to achieve their goals. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational and emotional development of our students.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide bespoke support to students with SEMH needs, tailoring your approach to meet the unique requirements of each individual.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies to promote student engagement and motivation.
  • Contribute to ongoing training and professional development opportunities, refining your skills and expertise in supporting students with SEMH needs.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs, preferably in an educational setting.
  • A compassionate and understanding approach to supporting students, with a strong emphasis on building trust and rapport.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, child development, or a related field are highly desirable but not essential.

The estimated salary for this position is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. This role offers a fulfilling opportunity for those passionate about transforming the lives of students and contributing to a positive school community.
