Job SummaryThe Children in Care Service (CiC) supports children or young people aged under 18 who are in care or accommodated. The team works closely with foster carers, residential homes, schools, social care services, GPs, and other relevant bodies to provide holistic support.
Main Duties- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Children in Care and adoption team.
- Act as an effective link across healthcare staff, schools, social care services, GPs, and other relevant bodies.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone. They will also be able to use Microsoft Office, excel, and email effectively.
Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- A good standard of education at GCSE level or equivalent, including English language.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised and prioritize your workload.
