Job Title: Commercial Account Handler/Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Account Handler/Executive to join our team at Lawes Consulting Group. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing and developing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial clients, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with the sales team to achieve revenue targets.
  • Oversee and develop the commercial team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Ensure all business activities comply with FCA regulations and company procedures.
  • Conduct learning and training exercises to maintain professional development and industry knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or professional qualification.
  • Cert CII qualified or working towards.
  • Strong understanding of FCA regulations and compliance.
  • Proven experience in a similar commercial account executive role.
  • Demonstrable track record of managing and developing client relationships.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to identify client needs and provide suitable solutions.
  • Proficiency in maintaining professionalism and accuracy in all client interactions.

Day-to-Day:

  • Prospect new leads and conduct client visits/initial contacts.
  • Identify client needs and negotiate with insurers to secure appropriate cover.
  • Present recommendations and cover to clients, ensuring a high level of customer service.
  • Monitor performance in line with targets and manage the client portfolio effectively.
