About the Opportunity

As a Tesco Sales Associate in our Lewes Superstore, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the store's success. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position ranges from £12.02 to £13.15 per hour, depending on location and skills. Additionally, new colleagues can expect a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with opportunities to work fewer hours also available.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers with a smile and serving them with pride.
  • Become knowledgeable about products and services within the store, making recommendations to customers as needed.
  • Work effectively across various store areas, including service, picking, and replenishment, as required.
  • Ensure that products are handled with care to maintain quality and meet customer expectations.
  • Take ownership of seasonal, community, and charity events, creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with store performance, understanding your role in driving sales and reducing waste.
