IT Support Engineer Role

MFK Recruitment is seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to join their team in a dynamic and award-winning client in Saint Leonards.

About the Role

The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for installing and supporting IT systems and infrastructure for clients, providing technical support for a wide range of current and new technologies, and assisting with managing company internal IT systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for clients, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Assist with managing company internal IT systems, including maintaining performance targets and following best practices for cyber and network security.
  • Work closely with Sales Account Managers and clients to develop proposals that are technically ratified.
  • Assist with IT project implementations, from planning and design through to completion.
  • Prepare hardware prior to delivery, including deploying OS image, Microsoft 365, and security applications.
  • Visit client sites to conclude escalated helpdesk support cases.
Requirements
  • Microsoft technologies: 365, Azure, Windows, AD, Server OS.
  • Cyber security: firewalls, web filters, advanced protection and recovery.
  • Networking: configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Management and Windows and Apple devices.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and flexibility with work hours.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in a similar IT role.
