Childcare Specialist

About the Role:

Simply Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to support in our Nursery Schools. The successful candidate will assist in the development and learning of young children, helping them reach their full potential through play-based activities and holistic development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning and implementing play-based learning activities.
  • Support children in reaching developmental milestones.
  • Encourage social-emotional development and positive interactions among children.
  • Help develop children's fine motor skills and gross motor skills through engaging activities.
  • Support language acquisition and early literacy development.
  • Engage children in sensory play and creative play.
  • Supervise outdoor learning activities ensuring a safe learning environment.
  • Foster phonemic awareness and school readiness.
  • Provide individualized support to children with diverse needs in an inclusive education setting.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to support child-centered approaches and holistic development.
  • Monitor and record children's progress through observation and assessment.
  • Participate in early intervention strategies as needed.
  • Promote resilience building and positive reinforcement.
  • Uphold the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and assist with the transition to school.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
  • Ability to engage children in interactive and exploratory learning activities.
  • A passion for supporting children's learning and development.
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is estimated at £25-£30 per hour. Simply Education Ltd offers competitive hourly rates paid weekly, a variety of local school positions to choose from, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
