Director of Women's Empowerment: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum plus pension (to be confirmed by board of trustees)

Maa Shanti is a charitable organisation that supports South Asian mothers who are impacted by domestic abuse. We provide advocacy and support to empower these women and their families. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our organisation and develop our services further.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and management in a charitable or non-profit organisation, experience of working with vulnerable women and children, and a strong understanding of the issues facing our service users. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and manage teams effectively.

As Director of Women's Empowerment, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our organisation's strategy and plans, managing relationships with stakeholders, and leading and managing a team of staff and volunteers. You will also be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our service users and contributing to the overall success of our organisation.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement organisational strategy and plans
- Lead and manage a team of staff and volunteers to achieve organisational goals
- Manage relationships with stakeholders, including funders, partners, and service users
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality services to service users

Requirements:
- Proven track record of leadership and management in a charitable or non-profit organisation
- Experience of working with vulnerable women and children
- Strong understanding of the issues facing our service users
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
