Charitable Finance and Administration Lead

Job Description:
Financial Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Financial Administrator Apprentice to join our team in Central London. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the financial, administrative, and communications processes of our charitable organisation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including double-entry bookkeeping, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and report monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheets, forecast annual budgets, and provide financial analysis and advice
- Implement credit control measures to ensure timely payment from clients and stakeholders
- Manage suppliers and tendering process, maintain relationships with external partners
- Provide secretarial services to support our trustees and administrative support to our CEO and trustees
- Oversee HR department, process reference requests, DBS checks, and maintain company records
- Coordinate public communications process and manage stakeholder engagement
Requirements:
- High-calibre bookkeeper with experience using Sage accountancy tools
- AAT qualified or equivalent
- Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills
