We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism (ASC / ASD) in a dynamic educational setting. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and empathetic individual to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. You will be working closely with pupils aged 8-18 who have a wide range of learning difficulties and disabilities.
Your Responsibilities
- Support pupils in the classroom to manage their behaviour, engage with tasks, and reach their potential.
- Take initiative, be resilient, and drive pupils to achieve and progress.
- Work on learning activities, promote confidence, and encourage pupils to act independently.
- Provide personal care for some pupils.
Requirements
- A minimum of [£25,000 - £30,000] per annum salary.
- Experience working with young people with ASD, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
- Emotional resilience and ability to work with challenging behaviours.
- Confidence in promoting happiness, self-reliance, and positive interactions.
- Ability to provide personal care.
