Reports to: Head of Direct Marketing
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience
Contract: Full-time permanent
Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar role
Position Overview:As a Client Engagement Marketing Lead at Neilson Active Holidays, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Direct Marketing to refine our marketing initiatives and enhance operational processes. Your primary responsibilities will encompass:
- Customer Journey Management:
- Partnering with the Head of Direct Marketing to optimize the customer journey.
- Overseeing email and SMS campaigns, automating customer communications, and conducting data analysis and reporting.
- Leveraging data insights to inform strategic decisions and implementing A/B testing.
- Strategic Development & Insights:
- Assisting in the formulation and execution of marketing strategies, pinpointing growth opportunities, and enhancing engagement across multiple channels.
- Contributing to the creation of standards and tools aimed at improving team efficiency.
- Project Management:
- Drafting detailed briefs for campaigns to effectively guide the creative team.
- Ensuring quality control for all produced content.
- Digital Presence & Social Media:
- Maintaining the company website, managing social media profiles, and evaluating performance metrics.
- Data Reporting:
- Gathering and interpreting mailing data, providing insights for marketing strategies, and staying updated on market trends.

Technical Proficiencies:
- Proficiency in CRM systems such as SuiteCRM and DotDigital, HTML editing, and content performance evaluation.
- Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Familiarity with Mac operating systems and content management systems.
- Understanding of analytics tools for data-informed decision-making.
Experience & Background:
- Proven experience in customer journey marketing, project oversight, and CRM management.
- Previous leadership experience is advantageous.
- Industry experience, particularly in travel, is beneficial.
Educational Background:
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
