Overview

Screwfix, a leading retailer in the UK known for its rapid growth, is seeking talented individuals to join our dynamic team across various departments, including procurement, digital marketing, and finance. As a Digital Merchandising Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience by developing and executing product placement strategies that drive sales and profitability within specialized areas. You'll analyze market trends and collaborate closely with Trading Managers to ensure the right products are readily available at the optimal time, ultimately leading to increased conversions and revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Senior Merchandising Manager to implement effective web merchandising strategies across multiple platforms.
  • Work in tandem with other merchandising managers to ensure exceptional delivery standards.
  • Lead a team dedicated to optimizing the online customer experience, resulting in improved conversions and revenue growth.
  • Partner with Digital Trading Managers to launch new product lines and execute cyclical changes effectively.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine product content to maximize ecommerce revenue potential.
  • Utilize merchandising tools to monitor and analyze customer behavior, informing strategic adjustments.
  • Propose A/B testing opportunities to enhance conversion rates.
  • Ensure the website is optimized for search engine traffic and provide timely recommendations for improvement.
  • Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to keep teams informed about ecommerce performance.
  • Collaborate with various teams to gather insights and analytics, driving meaningful changes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for relevant third-party tools.
  • Conduct regular reviews of digital platforms and provide valuable insights.
  • Coach team members to achieve best-in-class results.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills for data analysis and informed decision-making.
  • Advanced proficiency in GA4 and other merchandising tools.
  • Experience with Content Square, Hot Jar, Bazaar Voice, and SEO best practices.
  • Knowledge of search journeys and platform capabilities.
  • Previous experience in a similar retail role and team management.
  • Customer-centric approach.
