Cultural Education Specialist

Are you passionate about arts and culture in education?

We are seeking a Cultural Education Specialist to join our dynamic team at Arts Council England. As a key member of our Learning Communities team, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering our national programme of support for teachers and cultural educators.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new and experimental national programme that shares advice and best practice, creates peer learning opportunities, and fosters creative and cultural partnerships. You will have the chance to help forge the direction this role takes, taking a data-driven approach through research and co-creation work and collaborating closely with other team members.

About the Role

  • Facilitating webinars & in-person events
  • Delivering 1:1 online support sessions
  • Developing CPD opportunities and resources for teachers and cultural educators
  • Collaborating with colleagues, teachers, and educators from the arts and culture sector to continually develop the Cultural Education Network

Your Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will be:

  • A creative and inquisitive individual with an appetite for building knowledge and expertise beyond your area of specialism
  • Proactive, empathetic, and collaborative, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and on-site working

Benefits and Salary

We offer a competitive salary of £36,987 per annum, plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working arrangements.
