Key Responsibilities

As a Community Children's Nurse, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive health assessments and interventions to children and their families in the community
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Providing education and support to families on healthy habits and disease prevention

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good standard of general education, including literacy and numeracy
  • Completion of a competency-based workbook or equivalent relevant experience to vocational level 3
  • Ability to adapt and learn in a healthcare environment

Desirable Criteria

Previous experience of working within a care environment or NHS would be an advantage, as would experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team and working with the public.
