Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Community Children's Nurse to join our team at Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group. As a Community Children's Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and their families in the community.
Key Responsibilities
As a Community Children's Nurse, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive health assessments and interventions to children and their families in the community
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
- Providing education and support to families on healthy habits and disease prevention
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A good standard of general education, including literacy and numeracy
- Completion of a competency-based workbook or equivalent relevant experience to vocational level 3
- Ability to adapt and learn in a healthcare environment
Desirable Criteria
Previous experience of working within a care environment or NHS would be an advantage, as would experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team and working with the public.
