A leading family support charity operating across Essex, our mission is to build confidence and skills in parents and carers.

Volunteering Opportunities

We offer various volunteering roles, each designed to provide valuable support to families in need:

  1. Home-Visiting Volunteer
  • Visit families in their homes once a week for six months, offering emotional support and guidance.
Telephone Befriending Volunteer
  • Provide one-to-one phone calls to families, offering emotional support and guidance.
Wellbeing Volunteer
  • Support parents in our face-to-face and online wellbeing groups, helping them develop coping mechanisms and build friendships.
Family Group Volunteer
  • Assist our Coordinators and Play Workers at local Family Groups.
Estimated Salary: £27,500 - £37,000 per annumKey Responsibilities
  • Spend time with families, providing emotional support and guidance.
  • Attend regular training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Work collaboratively with other volunteers and staff members to ensure the best possible outcomes for families.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Empathetic and non-judgmental approach to working with families.
