Assistance and Support Professional

Ayrshire Independent Living Network is looking for a skilled Assistance and Support Professional to join our team in the Ayr area. The successful candidate will provide personalized support to a young boy with Autism, assisting him in engaging with his community and developing his interests.
This role requires a strong understanding of empowering support methods, experience supporting individuals with Autism, and excellent interpersonal skills. Additionally, computer literacy and training in ASD and moving/assisting techniques will be provided.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the young person in participating in community life and activities as directed by his family.
- Accompanying him to various outings such as the cinema, coffee trips, and bus rides to town.
- Engaging in home activities tailored to the young person's needs and interests.
We are offering a competitive salary of £24,000 - £30,000 per annum, making this an exciting opportunity for those passionate about supporting individuals with Autism.
