About the Role

This permanent Domestic Assistant position is based at University Hospital Ayr, offering a unique opportunity to join our team and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.

As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment that meets the highest standards of hygiene and infection control.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide a wide range of domestic services, supporting clinical teams across Ayrshire and Arran. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services, adhering to NHS Scotland's National Cleaning Services Specification and Healthcare Environment Inspectorate Standards.

To excel in this role, you will require excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess experience working in a healthcare setting or industrial cleaning environment, although full training will be provided. A strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality services are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing domestic services to support clinical teams across Ayrshire and Arran.

Requirements
