Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Cammack Recruitment.
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Non-Standard Household Underwriting and will be responsible for processing new business quotations and mid-term adjustments in accordance with Company policy and agreed authority limits.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for liaising with their peers and Insurers for a decision if or when a higher level referral is necessary, supporting robust underwriting practices in accordance with agreed Insurer guidelines and delegated underwriting authorities.
  • Additionally, the candidate will support the Senior Management team in ensuring operational processes preserve underwriting integrity and meet FCA and other regulatory requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills and a high degree of attention to detail, as well as strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • The role will involve working across all products with the ability to be or strive to be multiskilled, and the candidate will be required to remain vigilant to the potential opportunities for financial crime, fraud and money laundering and take actions appropriate to mitigate their likelihood and impact.
  • The successful candidate will also be required to proactively respond to customer queries and answer queries in a timely fashion.
