As a Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for managing the process of optimising workshop resources to meet agreed departmental budgets.

An average day as a Workshop Assistant...

  • Managing a safe workshop environment in accordance with HSO requirements.
  • Planning the distribution of work amongst the team taking into account individual skill levels.
  • Analyse and manage the effective use of workshop resources and monitor individual and workshop efficiencies to ensure the companies targets and KPi's are met.
  • Manage liaison between workshop and service reception on customer vehicle progress.
  • Supporting the Service Manager in day-to-day duties.
  • Carry out quality control in the workshop.
  • Offering exceptional customer service, including maintaining customer relationships
  • Taking care of any customer issues or complaints professionally and in a timely manner.
